Company ProfileAfter 100 years of trading, William Clements (Chemicals) Ltd hasn't looked back. As with any business, the time has been a story of continual progress, technological advance and product specialisation. This constant evolution has resulted in the company offering unrivalled service and a product range which consists of General Hygiene Products, Industrial Laundry Detergents, Vehicle Cleaning Detergents, Swimming Pool Chemicals and General Chemicals. A far cry from its origins in Belfast's Duncrue Street when the business centred around soap manufacturing, sheep dips and polishes. In 1989, ten years after joining William Clements (Chemicals) Ltd as Sales Manager and Formulator, Raymond Farley bought control of the company. Since then Clements has enjoyed continued success. At the start of the 1990's the management team was extended to include Sam Wylie and Mike Rooney and under their guidance the range of manufactured cleaning materials was extended to give a complete portfolio of vehicle cleaning detergents and laundry products. William Clements (Chemicals) Ltd is committed to planning for the future, to anticipate our customer's demands. That's why the company formed an agreement in conjunction with Queen's University, Belfast to fund joint research into new cost effective and environment friendly cleaning products. Proof once again of our commitment to provide the highest levels in customer service.
